U/s 2 of dissolution of muslim marraiges . There are 9 grounds for dissolution .

1. Missing of husband since 4 years at least and No body knows about his whearabouts .

2.failure to maintainance at least for continuous period of 2 years ,,, No mattr how much poor he is .

3 . Imprisonment of husband upto 7 years at least

4. Failure to perform marital obligation for at least 3 year or more .

5 . Impotency of husband in this case court will need no more evidence .. only saying impotent by wife is just enough .. but if husband proved his in-impotency within one year than court hv power to null and void such dissolution .

6.Insanity liprocay and viral desease also a valid ground .

7 . Option of puberty . Wife can repudiate such Nikah which ceremonized by her parents in her childhood on attainment of majority age. Provided marraige must not consummed .Then she can annul such nikah

8 .cruelty of husband .Includes both it may be imotional or physical cruelty ..

9.Any other ground as per sharia like lian and fasakh ...
like lian in which husband imputes her wife and if allegation proved false so then wife hv right to fasakh her marraige ..
